Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and MentorClub ("MentorClub", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the MentorClub platform at mentorclub.in and all associated services. By creating an account, making a purchase, or accessing any content, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are accessing the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

MentorClub provides pre-recorded audio courses, written study material, AI-powered mentoring, and related educational content focused on Indian tax law. All content is provided for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. The platform operates under Indian law and is intended for use by tax professionals, chartered accountants, finance students, and corporate finance teams in India.

Content accuracy: while we make every effort to ensure accuracy, tax law changes frequently. MentorClub does not guarantee that all content reflects the most current legal position at all times. Users must independently verify the current applicability of any provision, rate, threshold, or case law before acting upon it. MentorClub accepts no liability for decisions made in reliance on platform content.

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the purchased course content for your own professional education. You may not: copy, reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content; create derivative works; use content for training AI models; share access credentials; circumvent technical protections; use automated tools to access content; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

The AI Mentor feature is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Each course purchase includes 25 questions at no additional cost. Additional questions are available for purchase as described on the platform. The AI Mentor provides responses for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional legal or tax advice. Responses may be imperfect, incomplete, or not reflect the most current legal position. MentorClub makes no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of AI Mentor responses. You use AI Mentor responses entirely at your own risk.

AI Mentor question packs are non-refundable and non-transferable. Unused questions in a purchased pack do not expire but cannot be transferred to another account.

All content on MentorClub — including audio recordings, written materials, episode structures, case law analyses, worked examples, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of MentorClub or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright law and applicable international treaties. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the content. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any platform content constitutes copyright infringement and may result in civil and criminal liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, MentorClub's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course or service giving rise to the claim. MentorClub is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, regardless of the theory of liability and even if MentorClub has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

MentorClub is not liable for: decisions made in reliance on platform content; errors or inaccuracies in course material; service interruptions or outages; third-party service failures (including Razorpay, Supabase, Google, or Anthropic); or any consequence of tax positions taken based on course content.

The platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. MentorClub expressly disclaims all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through written notice. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India. You irrevocably submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.

MentorClub may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, if you: breach these Terms; share your access token; attempt to circumvent device limits; initiate fraudulent chargebacks; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. Termination does not entitle you to any refund.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform.
