I started my career with Infosys as an IT Analyst and then after gaining the required learning, I resigned from there and joined SAP as an Associate Engineer. Following this process, I have worked with many IT companies like in IBM as a Software Engineer, in Oracle as a Software Engineer, and my journey of working for an IT firm stopped at my dream destination, Google, Bangalore where I worked for 2.5 years. In Google, I was appointed as an Android Developer, then I joined the anti-hacker team, after that the Robotics Department, and I resigned as a Senior Android Developer. After resigning from Google, I started my own software company ” Geaphler Techfx Softwares and Media Private Limited” in 2015 and am continuing with the same. Besides software development, I am Level 7 ethical hacker.
Please describe your current Job Responsibilities as a Director & CEO of a Software Company.
My daily responsibilities include checking for new updates in the software development work. I am responsible for the development and designing of the software. And I assure the best quality service by ensuring each and every work in delivered on time. I also look after the online news channel “India News Now”, running by my organization. Occasionally I give lectures and deliver a seminar on software and system security related topics. I handle our online radio channel that is “Radio Web”. I also monitor the performance of my employees.

The person must be effective and efficient, meaning he should know how to complete the task within the given time with minimum resources. He must be a creative person because designing a software needs lots of trials and errors for customized software. He must be a good learner and should be ready to learn new things as in this field everyday technology is changing and to be the part of it you must learn about the latest technicalities. You should know how to convince the clients and meet their requirements. You should be able to work for long hours because some of the work needs lots of effort in this filed.
What are some of the positives, which would encourage someone to join your Profession?
First thing is that being a coder or technical person, you will always have a job security and a good source of income. Designing anything makes you think out of the box and brings out the creativity in yourself. Working on the enhancement of every software gives you the broader perspective of the technology running these days and the requirements to meet the constant demands to keep up with such advancements. It definitely has a relaxed work culture, you will not be asked to move here and there for certain work, you just need to be at a comfortable place while you compile your work. You can shift to the metro cities with this career option and if you want you can go abroad also.
What are some of the negatives that you would want someone to be aware of when considering a career in your Profession?
The main issue while working for prolonging hours on a computer screen is that it may affect your eyesight. Another health issue is neck and back problem, which you may face while working in the same position for long hours and you may need to visit physiotherapist sometimes. The cost of education in this field is little high. If going for a course of a programming language like Java or PHP or any other course, the fees are little high. The harmful radiations from the wireless transmission may cause you some issues but that too is minor.

I would choose the same career. Because since the age of 11, I was interested in software and electronics. Till my 10th class, I was sure about my career option and went on to pursuing the same.
