I have been working as a cook in a catering service from almost 40 years. I work as a sweets specialist and even I know other dishes too. learned all these from my father. It is a very tough job as you have to work from early morning till night in front of the fire and then we get paid. Our main aim is to bring happiness to customer’s face with our special dishes. We have been serving our customers by almost 1000 dishes. We have to maintain good taste so that we do not lose our loyal customers.
Please describe your current Job Responsibilities as a Cook.
My area of specialty is desserts. I know other dishes as well but that is what I enjoy doing the most. It is a difficult job as each dish has to be perfect every time and it is not easy to do so when you make food in such a large quantity. I make sure that all my ingredients are ready for the day. Many a time, I have to go to the market to get the produce. It is tiring as I have to wake up early every day and work constantly.
