I had started my career in the First Year of my college by teaching English, which gradually I found was my interest. I continued teaching part-time throughout my graduation. After my graduation was complete, I worked in Akashvani for some time and from there, I developed my interest in public speaking and motivating people in their life. I have worked with many companies and educational institutes as a motivational speaker. I have started my own company “Arambh Bharat“, where we focus on providing English classes in rural and remote areas.

Please describe your current Job Responsibilities.

Working in the field of education gives me a lot of responsibility on my shoulders. I organize my day according to my schedule of the day. I travel a lot because of work. And I talk to local people to know their views for the betterment of their child and society. I provide training to volunteers working in my company to deal with rural children with care. I do marketing research and work on improving the primary education of society. And I also deliver motivational speeches and often invited as a motivational speaker in educational institutes.

A good speaker is, first of all, a good listener, so you have to be a keen listener. You have to be confident about what you speak. Also, you have to be a learner, as you do not know about everything in this world. You have to be an open-minded person, you cannot be judgemental when you try to understand someone else’s situation.

What are some of the positives, which would encourage someone to become a Motivational Speaker?

It gives me immense happiness when my words make positive changes in someone’s life. Being an inspiration for someone will give you internal satisfaction. Income if great in this field. Educational institutes, corporate sectors, and other sectors invite you to motivate their people. Being an outstanding motivational speaker will make you famous. People will love to hear from you and will give you respect. Work culture is great and if you love meeting new people, you will be in love with this profession. According to me, this profession has made my life worth living.

What are some of the negatives that you would want someone to be aware of when considering a career as Motivational Speaker?

Being a public figure for good reasons can put you on a lot of restriction in life. If you have any bad habit like smoking or drinking then you cannot be confident on stage to motivate people to go for a healthy lifestyle. You have to be conscious of your actions in public. You will have to watch your tone of speaking and your behavior even after you are done with the speech. If you do not like traveling and meeting people, then this profession might make you furious sometimes. There is great imbalance of work-life.
