Profile Details

Profession – Software Engineering
Designation – Senior Software Developer
Age – 31
Work Experience (Years) – 10
Under-Graduation – B.Tech, College of Engineering, Perumon

Please give us a summary of your Career.

I did most of my schooling from my hometown (Kayamkulam) and nearby areas. After 12th, I gave entrance exam for Engineering and got into College of Engineering Perumon. My stream was Electronics and Communication Engineering. As an Engineering student, I also dreamt of landing a job right after my graduation. I got campus placement during my final year and joined an MNC named ‘Accenture‘ in 2008. And I started off my career as a Junior Software Developer. I worked with Accenture for 7 years, then switched to another MNC called Capgemini in 2015. I switched company as I got a better position and package there.

Please describe your current Job Responsibilities.

Currently, I am working with Capgemini as a Senior Software Developer. The nature of my job has not been changed much since my initial days. As any software developer, I work on different projects to meet the client’s requirements. As a Senior Developer, I need to work with other people to complete projects, but staying focused and working alone is typical. Coding is an interesting task if you have reasonable logic. Yet this job would become mundane after years of work. However, my current job allows me to get to interact with my teammates and clients more. If a client or your boss asks for a job to be done, you need to be confident in your ability to deliver that job and put across that confidence. If something they are asking for is impossible or impractical, then you need to be confident enough to explain that.
