Being a bank employee, especially on managerial levels, you get frequent transfers. Working in different places with different people from different cultures obviously will help you to widen your horizon. Banking career involves a lot of interactions with people. This will make you develop communication skills even if you’re an introvert or shy. Besides working in different states is an opportunity to learn a new language. Many students nowadays prefer banking over the corporate sector because of the stability it provides. A good salary scale and pay revisions are available with attractive perks. Even the chances for a promotion is very high, so if you are ambitious, smart and hardworking you can get into top level positions.

Tremendous work load is there. Banking sector still needs more workforce to meet the need of every customer since India is a populous country. It can difficult to maintain the balance due to workload and frequent transfers. We have to away from the family for several years during the career. It is a risky profession as you need to deal with money, we need to be careful and cautious with our work.
