What are some of the positives, which would encourage someone to become a Commercial Manager?

Becoming a commercial manager is a natural development in one’s career. As a manager, you will be getting plenty of opportunities to encourage and influence people’s careers. People who enjoy being in sales and marketing will be overwhelmed on receiving such a post, and then they will be constantly motivated and will inspire others to follow suit. As a  commercial manager, we get to explore and visit a lot of new places and meet new people.

What are some of the negatives that you would want someone to be aware of when considering a career as a Commercial Manager?

Being a commercial manager is exciting but also leads to a lot of pressure and anxiety. It can be difficult to juggle being a leader and an employee to bring up the organization. Along with the increase in salary comes more responsibilities. One has to handle both responsibilities and benefits at the same time which gets difficult. As a commercial manager, the options are very limited in case you want to switch the field you are in. If you leave your present job, finding a job in a different field is a tough task.
