I completed my 12th from DAV, Ramprasad. Then, I completed my graduation in B.Tech from Maharishi Markandeshwar Engineering College. After completing my graduation, I worked as a software developer for Binary Semantic Limited for about a year. Here, I was signed with different projects. After that, I joined the Food and Supply Department of Haryana where I am currently working. My job as a programmer is to maintain the data online, the office is near to my home so this job is more comfortable for me than the previous one.
Please describe your current Job Responsibilities as Programmer at Food & Supply dept.
The main functions and duties of the Food & Supplies Department are the procurement of Foodgrains under the minimum support price and levy the scheme, maintenance of health of stocks till these are delivered to FCI. The operation of the Public distribution system and enforcement of provisions of the Weights and Measures Act and Rules
framed thereunder. My main duty as Programmer is to make sure that all the data is up to date and maintaining the official site of food and supply department and improve it. SO, that it becomes easier to put all data and make sure that this site is safe.

What are some of the positives, which would encourage someone to become a programmer?
There is a lot of job satisfaction as you get to use your creativity and mind. You get to determine your destiny in this as there is no career limit for talented and hard working programmers. You can even develop your own software products. After gaining enough experience, you can get another job more easily because you have the right experience for it. It provides you with well-paying jobs. As a Computer Programmer, you can earn a decent salary. There are multiple career options as Computer Programming can prepare you for careers in other technology-related fields.
What are some of the negatives that you would want someone to be aware of when considering a career as programmer?
As a programmer, you have to be comfortable learning new information quickly and competently. Thus, you need to be adaptive and learn the newer and faster developments of the field. You will also have a hardcore reading to serve the same purpose. You will have to do so each year just to keep up with new technologies or new computer upgrade. If you are not passionate about technology at heart, you may become unhappy over the influence it exerts on your values. You may develop health problems as you spend a lot of time sitting, typing in front of the computer, your wrists, eyes, and back, which may cause some pain or injures.
