There is a good chance to visit a variety of places as projects are being executed in different areas and one has to relocate when the current project is over. Income increases with your experience, skill, talent and after acquiring some other certificates or additional education. You may feel very proud after completion of any high-value project and you will get appreciation from the common public as well. What are some of the negatives that you would want someone to be aware of when considering a career as Civil Engineer?

Work-life balance may not be proper but it also depends on projects like if you are in Building project section, you may be posted in cities and you can relocate your family at that place but if you are in projects like dam construction, railway project in remote areas then you may not be able to relocate your family at that place. At times, there are local issues which may create tension and obstruction at the project site. There will a lot of workload at all times. Frequent relocation according to the projects can be tasking after a while.
