As a fresher, I first started to work for a private firm called B.S Kashyab and Son Ltd. I worked there for 2 years and 6 months as a junior engineer. My responsibility was to work under the supervision of my seniors and complete the allotted responsibilities assigned by them. No sooner, I changed my job and joined as a civil engineer at Gammon India Ltd. I worked there for 1 year 6 months. Post that, I received a better offer from a firm known as Larsen and Turbo ECC division I am still continuing my job under this firm.
Please describe your current Job Responsibilities.
My current job responsibilities at Larsen and Turbo ECC division are as follows:
Firstly, I need check if the produced items quality is up to the mark and is suitable to be sold out in the market.
Secondly, I need to check upon the quality of the products so that only the best items are used for producing the manufactured goods. This is called the process of quality control.
Thirdly, I deal with clients. I meet and explain to them about all the works going on in the unit.
Fourthly, I supervise all the juniors engineers working under me.

What are some of the negatives that you would want someone to be aware of when considering a career in your Profession?
Firstly, the stress levels at this job are very high as work hours sometimes exceed 12 hours. And there might be sudden calls from the unit if, there are some technical problems.
Secondly, the work environment is competitive. The work timings are not at all flexible, which makes it very tough to keep up.
Thirdly, working in any kind of manufacturing unit is a risk as there is a high chance of work accidents.
