After finishing my graduation, I worked at HCL for 2 years. I felt there was less career opportunity and hence I decided to move to the Government sector. And I prepared for Banking.

Please describe your current Job Responsibilities.

I work in a rural branch and I tell people about the government schemes and help them get above the poverty line. I check the ATM machines of my region and see if they are working in order. Government banks work majorly in the village or rural areas, so development is the main focus of these banks. We are given a target that we have to reach and get more people informed.

1. You meet different people and cannot tell who has come with what intentions hence you have to be calm and listen to everyone.
2. You have to be alert all the time, sometimes people forge papers so you have to pay attention to each and every detail.
3. Frauds is another thing that you have to be aware of to see if the customer is trying to fraud the bank.
4. Sometimes, there are mis-transactions. Keeping a check on this is important.
5. Verify the person whose transaction has to be done if he or she is not physically present in the bank.
