I started my career with teaching and I taught in schools and colleges initially. I was a radio Jokey in New Delhi for some time and then my career took me towards the corporate.
Then worked in national as well as international companies in the HR department. Since 2002, I am an Entrepreneur working on my own in HR, career development coaching, training and mentoring.

Please describe your current Job Responsibilities as a Human Resources.

Basically I inspire and encourage people, making them realize their true potential and bring them out in the industry as fine corporates. I understand human behaviors and have mastered in bringing out the best in every human being through Counseling, training, workshops, motivational speaking, coaching and mentoring. My works also include talent search, designing HR systems, competency mapping process for the organization. Designing and implementing a performance management system and training. I am a Transactional Analysis Practitioner.
And I help candidates to find out their passion and coach them to fulfill their own goals. I work one-to-one and work in groups as well.

The major challenge is that companies today are product oriented. They are not much concerned about the people.
They are not much interested in the growth of the people. There are some exceptions where companies are concerned with the employees. I believe that HR in India is still growing.

Now you have several years of work experience and you have seen professions of others. If you are taken back to 10th/12th class and allowed to pick a profession, then which profession will you pick and why?

I would have been into event management. I was too good at the managing part. Other would be coaching and mentoring which I am into right now. Because my grandfather had a huge influence on me, looking at him I love to help people and enjoy being a part of their growth journey.
